Today, we learned animation using Google Slides; we inserted a static background, then used a .png image (that has no background), and moved it around the screen to make our first animation!

Wow Ngā Papahu, your animations look fantastic! I am so impressed with how quickly you put these together well done! I wonder if you could write a poem or tell a story to go with them? What kind of music do you think would match your animation? They are all so different and I'm super proud of your efforts. Tu meke koutou 👍
ReplyDeleteWow, these animations are gorgeous! Well done tamariki ma. Fabulous that you kaiako used her newly acquired skills the very next day to produce these amazing animations. I'm looking forward to seeing what other creations you can make now you have some basics skills. What might you next animation be about?
ReplyDeleteKia ora Ngā Papahu,
ReplyDeleteI am also a school facilitator for Manaiakalani just like Kerry.
Your animations are very creative and amazing. You have done a great job with the backgrounds and movements. How did you get your characters to move? Why did you choose the backgrounds and characters? How could you use animations in your class work? I look forward to reading more of your posts.

Tena koutou Ngā Papahu and Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI work as a facilitator in schools in Tairāwhiti.
It really looks like you had a lot of fun creating your animations. I like the way you have looped your slides so they keep going over and over. I wonder if you could use animations to tell a story with a beginning, middle and end?
Ngā mihi,
Maria
