Matariki

We celebrated Matariki - Maori new year, by constructing a concertina book which showcased Te Iwa o Matariki (The nine stars of Matariki), followed by a full day celebrating Ururangi - the star connected with the 'winds of the sky' by weaving incredible fishing kites and Manu Wahine.
